Make it Seeler instead of Braun and Flames likely accept

Tanev is a bit of a ? Health wise for us, so another RD for insurance might be nice, but I believe Weegar is playing better at RD, so we need a Tough 3LD more and Seeler plays both sides. That said I like Robert Hagg more than Seeler and Luke Schenn more than Justin Braun

I don’t think JVR is ideal, but a reunion with Kadri and the fact he’ll go to the front of the net to tip in the perimeter shots our players like to shoot is attractive

Leafs decline, they already have Simmonds and Clifford waiting in the wings if needed

terrible 4th liners dont "bring physicality"they are just bad at hockey. the Leafs have always had bad physical 4th liners and yet every year people say they need more.

Rangers have enough depth on D with the addition of Mikkola, so very doubtful they would do this.

That's fair. Though I disagree with you Robert Hagg stance, he's once of the worse DMan in the league. Seeler who I will say I hated last year has been solid all year and has an extra year at League Min. Skates fairly well, can be physcial drop the gloves and has been good defensively.

And Schenn and Braun, the thing is Braun probably costs next too nothing and Schenn is gonna get an outragous return for what he is. Analytically Schenn is quite bad, and Braun is decent just an awful Skater.

The reason I traded JVR to CGY here is because I've seen tons of rumors, and he brings offensive help to CGY, while not giving up much assets. Calgary needs to really think about building a prospect pool.

CGY has a decent prospect pool, just none of them are really stepping up or competing for jobs this season. Next Year a bunch will be up

I think Hagg was injured and is tired of playing on a bad team. I like him as a cheap 3LD/7th D-Man. He’s similar to Seeler from what I can tell and both will play RD if need be too

Yeah, Schenn will probably cost more than I think the Flames should pay, unless they can re-sign him for cheap too, which I doubt. Wasn’t that long ago, Schenn was down in the minors. Not sure if he’s having a career resurgence or just likes playing in VAN, but at his age, he’s a gamble

JVR is old & slow too but he’s big, will go to the net and is decent at tipping and cleaning up pucks, which CGY needs

Accurate values, likely going to different teams then what you have here though.
