What is this, I’ll get into the trades but the whole idea is so odd.
ANA - Juolevi is as redundant as redundant gets, we don’t need another fringe NHL LHD. I also have no interest in retaining to get that done. Martin is also better than Juolevi. For all those reasons I’m out.
NJD - this is confusing as hell, why are we retaining on AHL players? And why are we retaining $2500. Bailey at 3.25 still has negative value and a couple of retained AHL pieces and late picks don’t change that. Jersey declines pretty easily but I really don’t get the thought process here.
NSH - I’d rather re-sign Fasching than trade him but if that’s impossible this makes some sense.
CGY - if we could get anything back for Ken Appleby I’d be a happy man, not sure why CGY would want a 5th string caliber goalie though.
