Probably not a good idea to include Amirov in a trade. 🤔
OldNYIfan, leafs101 and Hawksguy81 liked this.

I feel like you hate the Leafs. Non-fans making deals that wreck Toronto, probably not how CF meant for the site to work but hey, whatever brings one joy!

Look, I'm a Max Comtois fan, but there's no way that he currently has the trade value of Rasmus Sandin, never mind the other stuff.

It balances out the Leafs fans wrecking their own team on CFACGM.

Sandin for Comtois is a war crime, as are many of these other trades.

I've played more games than you've seen JNinja
and from what I've seen the Leafs are too small and soft by contrast with Bruins, Canes, Bolts, Rangers - exactly the teams they have to beat to win playoff rounds

never mind the other stuff? Kerfoot & Mete are just money out to make the cap work.

consider power dynamics in business negotiations. The party that needs to trade to compete now is always at a disadvantage to the seller who can leverage competing bids in trade
so let's do the math:
1st round pick & Anthony Greco from Tampa to Sharks = Barclay Goodrow +3rd round pick
1st round pick & Nolan Foote = Blake Coleman
not superstars - just pieces needed to win two Cups; and do you notice who paid the most?

so what do the Leafs need to win a Cup in the next 3years? a top 4D with size and mobility NOW, or a prospect who will possibly make an NHL roster in 3 years?
Amirov may have skills and look good in his current league - but he is just a prospect - and Peeke is a proven defender, at he right cap hit and term
the future is now
