At first I was wondering why you didn't just put the trades in but then realized there are multiple teams retaining. I got you.

Also, lol at Kane 96.875% retained. Imagine getting paid 105k by one team.

Ottawa accepts regardless...

What if MTL gives retention on the Kane trade (the 2nd 50%) for Colton Dach and forget the rest of the MTL part lol

JFC man I think doing a 5000-piece puzzle of clouds would be easier!

I hate to be the party pooper here knowing how much time you spent with this proposal but I don't see Montreal having an interest in Hoglander with Farrell about to sign his ELC after his season ends. As for Jones I don't see where he would play since we already have Matheson, Guhle, Harris, Xhekaj as LHD and Hutson, Struble and Engstrom (among others) in the pipeline.

We would have an interest for Kravtsov, for a RHD and for a G.

Deff a lot of work, only thing no one player can have more than 75% of his salary retained and no one team can retain more than 50% of a Salary. Kanes retention would also be tops 75%. I think Montreal does well in this

There is no value for Mtl except for receiving Dach, who is a deserved 2d rd pick. But, Mtl has Owen Beck, Mesar and even Mysak in the pipeline for 3rd Center, although Mysak is looking like a fringe AHLer right meow.
Not worth giving away Tuch, who is a 1 of a kind prospect for Mtl, AND moving back approx 20 spots in 2d round this year.
Hoglander and Jones are both scratching to stay in the NHL, and both need contracts.
