Description
One thing that is seemingly lost on lots of fans when talking about TDL targets is understanding those who fit the coaches system.

Edmonton is an up tempo team and should be looking to improve on that rather than adding a pure shutdown guy. I know the league is a copy cat league but EDM showed last year that they can dictate play and with an arguably better team than last year they should be able to their narrative deeper into the playoffs.

Jakob Chychrun does that for their dcore.
Max Domi does that for their middle 6 fwds.
Noel Accari does that for their bottom 6 fwds.

Sam Lafferty does not do that.
Gavrikov does not do that.
Joel Edmundson absolutely does not do that.

He does not historically drive offense, a 5% bump in career shooting %.
Absolutely not worth the rumoured ask

Can you tell me the NHL GM who drafted Yamamoto and furthermore what organization now employs him, along with his role for context?

Heh. Yes, of course! Since Chiarelli totally **** the bed by picking Yama waaaaaaaay too early, that means Doug Armstrong suddenly lost his brain! How did I not see it before?!

He's a midget who can barely produce playing with Drai and plays the Blues most loaded position while also costing way too much and they can;t even clear him off the books this summer. So... where do we sign up for this terrible deal that not only does nothing to help the Blues, it actually harms them?

Hawks decline. Domi half retained costs a 2nd. Kemp doesn't come close to paying to move Foegele out. Replace Kemp with the '23 3rd and Hawks probably accept
