I tend to think the Hawks say yes. They'd certainly prefer the 2023 1st, but I see you have that going to Meier...whom I think CAR should go after hard.

Would you be willing to sub out Drury with Gunler or Trikozov?

Sharks have a lot of talented undersized forwards in their system, so it would be nice to get someone a little bigger and a tad younger. You could also downgrade the 2024 second to a 2024 3rd as well if that makes it happen

CHI strongly considers this but ultimately I wonder if the 2024 pick and two years of retention are too much.

I don't think McCabe is a superstar but he's very capable and has a reasonble cap hit, so a better offer might be had.
