I think its a mistake for Toronto to trade Knies, but NSH will take that deal.

I think so too, but I'm also in the win now window mode. Not certain our top players stick around much longer and Tavares not getting younger. If there was ever a time to say YOLO, its now.

Pipe dream? Bad crack for the Leafs. Since when is Garland worth so much and a 1st line winger. He's putting up 2.1m Jarnkrok numbers.
Leafs can't afford Kuzmenko next season. Murray doesn't stay on LTIR forever. Players to resign next season....it is a cap league.
The difference between Kerfoot/Sandin and Garland, Kuzmenko, Ekholm isn't two first, a second, two thirds, Niemela, Knies, Robertson and Minten

Yeah as a Preds fan, you overpayed big time here.

With no retention on Ekholm, I'd take back a 1st and Sandin, but Dubas wouldn't. And I can see why. It'd be more ideal for them to invest in Sandin long term.
