I can't see Winnipeg having any interest in Yamamoto at that price. Maybe drop the 2nd.

That's the best offer for Timo Meier I can recall seeing. As a Kings fan, I hope you don't make that offer in real life.

I'm not an oilers fan so i'm just gonna say there's no bias here. I feel as though Yamamoto is worth a 2nd, the jets 2nd will be a low pick and Yamamoto in the right situation can be an effective player on a third line role on a bigger team like the jets

If i'm the sharks Holloway, a prospect and 2 firsts are the minimum. I'm swapping Puljujarvi's 3 mill with Meier's contract being retained at 50%, the sharks would need to be compensated for that (and i feel as though it's not necessarily enough to receive for a rebuilding team like the sharks) hence why I added Schaefer. How I look at it if i'm the oilers is like this, will Dylan Holloway or Reid Schaefer be better than Timo Meier? No. Do the oilers need to win now? yes. Ideally I wouldn't be giving up prospects like Holloway and future assets If i'm another organization, but when you have Mcdavid and Draisaitl you always need to go for it. Chychrun, Meier, and some depth acquisitions can help get that done. My main reasoning for the massive deals though is due to the fact that the West is weak, and the oilers have a real shot in going deep again.

He might be to someone, but for Winnipeg Yamamoto isn't good enough offensively for the top 6 and isn't good enough defensively for the bottom 6.

He's not an effective player on the Oilers and I can't see that changing coming to Winnipeg that has a deeper forward group than Edmonton. So, Yamamoto isn't going to get the minutes he does in Edmonton or have McDavid to get points for him.

fair enough, Winnipeg was more of an example team. It can be any team really, at the end of the day it's just ridding of his 3 mill right (while also getting something sufficient back)
