I still maintain that Sharangovich is kind of meh for SJ in a SJ trade and I still think Grier only moves Meier for a slight overpay. Shar is not a bad player but he's only 2 years younger than Meier. They probably want to go younger or else why not keep Meier, who is not that old. Maybe SJ is competing again when Meier is 28 or 29. Makes more sense if they're really going to blow it up to go younger and with prospects with more potential, or else Grier doesn't make the trade.
I'm much more on board 1st+Holtz+Casey/Muk/Walsh/Bahl trades, because it makes more sense in a real blowup
