Toews just isn't worth a 23' 1st, the Jets are in a locale that just can't spend 1sts on rentals.

Those Staal boys are too past their primes to be of much help so that's not a trade the Jets should make.

Ultimately the Jets need much bigger changes if they want to go deep in the playoffs, having a defense made up of mostly 3rd pair dmen and a bottom six full of mostly AHLers isn't going to carry a team to the final.

Not a chance Winnipeg does the Toews trade, he just isn't worth a 1st.

If the trade was 5 years ago for the Staal's it might work, not now though.
