Since CH was the GK who took the flyers to the playoffs in 2019-'20 Carter has been rather pedestrian:
38 wins 52 losses 21 OT 0.901 SV%
Over that same period Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen was:
17 wins 15 losses 4 OT 0.904 SV%
With 38 wins and 73 losses over the past three seasons why do you think Buffalo would want Hart?

The Sabres decline. First, Deslauriers peaked as a bottom forward for the Sabres. He could help out former linemate Girgensosns in strengthening the fourth line. Second, training away a quantity of assets for nothing is quick way for a general manager to find unemployment. Kevyn Adams would not make that deal.
