I don’t think any team should want JT Miller at that price on their roster, and I think he should be viewed as a negative asset based solely on the fact that he’s considered a toxic personality.

I really believe the notion that Miller is a toxic person is really overblown. It’s based solely on a couple viral clips from this year. Last year everybody loved him and there were even calls to make him captain instead of Bo. If he was truly as bad of a personality as people think he is, it would have been known before his 10th season in the league. This isn’t to say that Miller is the greatest guy ever or that he is even worth his contract, and you’re right he clearly does have attitude issues. I just think they are very exaggerated at this point

People don't like Miller because Miller got his bag and the Canucks continued to suck this year.

He did the same things last year and was called out for it under Green by fans, but fans didn't care when the Canucks were winning under Bruce.

Each team's fans do it every year with a player or two, a fan favourite who becomes the target of ire. Happened to Kessel on the Leafs, Pacioretty in Montreal, Gaudreau in Calgary, Hall in Edmonton, Laine in Winnipeg.

Well that’s just a false narrative at this point as Bruce Boudreau recently said in an interview that Miller is very well liked in the dressing room, and that Boudreau would want Miller on his team if he ever coached again. Just goes to show how little any of us fans actually know about a players personality. His personality is still the same as when he put up 99 points last season, but nobody batted an eye. Teams were clearly interested in him last season, and reports suggests that many are interested in him right now
