tbf, the Leafs always seem to make a weird trade like this at the deadline. Fringe roster player for fringe roster player. Usually around 2:30pm on deadline day xD

Yeah, but it's usually for a purpose lol. Like if they needed to add "grit" or defensive depth, or if the other guy has more term or something

I think Anderson might even get a chance to play for the Leafs in the playoffs if they have injuries, and next year they probably resign him to replace Engvall.

I like Joey Anderson. Alex Steeves too. Can definitely see them both on Line 4 to start the year.

Abruzzese seems like a guy that could get dealt.

Yeah, I would exepct those guys at least competing for a spot with whatever FAs they sign.

Abruzzese probably does get dealt in a deal like that, then he becomes the next Marchement but Malgin-sized, and people get mad at Dubas.
