If you want the Caps to take back bad Ceci for an extra 2 years you'll have to pay more than that. I know Ceci isn't terrible, he's useful bottom pairing guy but the contract is bad. If you need money eaten we'll take Poolparty off your hands.

I would probably take this. I know fans see Ceci as a negative but most GMs would probably see a perfectly fine defender locked up for two more years ...

One thing I thought about while doing this AGM was the fact that WSH isn't going to go full rebuild, they are still in the Ovi era and would likely retool rather than rebuild. Ceci is, as you stated, under contract for two more seasons and if they feel like they will lose Jensen this offseason why not flip him for a decent 2nd / 3rd pair RHD?
Adding Eller into the deal is maybe where WSH says no.

I doubt it I think the 3rd for Eller is very fair. Biggest problem is using up 2 retention slots in one deal but not that big an issue
