      I wanted them to move on from Rust regardless who they signed because he is just a product of crosby and malkin.

      Well that's just a rabbit hole I don't even want to go down lol. We all agree this past offseason was horrendous anyways - that's the point here I guess

      No Rust is a product of being a very good 3rd line player/ penalty killer that Sully tried to make into a top 6 winger because there was no one else. Before they traded for Rakell the second best RW on the team after Rust was Kappy. If The Pens can get a cheap RW that can push Rust to the third, the team would be much better off.

      Minor nitpick, but if you undo the Petry trade you don't have Poehling lol
