Caps hard pass. Jensen can get a 1st. And Mantha is better than Olofsson. Then Caps also give up a 2nd? No way. BUF would be throwing in a 1st in this situaion.

Not even close. Olofsson is a PP specialist, that's it. Mantha is a great play driver at both ends of the ice. Not his fault his coach hates him and sticks him with bottom 6 players and no PP time.

Olofsson isn't a power play specialist, that narrative should've died years ago. Also, everything you said about mantha being buried with bottom 6 players- is 100% what olofsson has going on.

I would like to think about this. If Mantha can make plays and score better than Olofsson, I think the trade would be fair and doable.

I don't know how many times I have to debunk the "OlOfSsOn Is A pP sPeCiAlIsT" clearly you don't watch him play or even look at basic stats. Outside of his rookie season and specifically since Granato took over he has about 28% of his points on the PP. Not to mention Mantha is made of glass

olofsson > mantha but the caps have no reason to move mantha right now, they can wait until the offseason. They'll get a much better return if they move Jensen without packaging him to Mantha, and pass pretty easily on this deal

I'm looking at his analytics right now. He's waaaay below average in xGF and xGA lol Not just this season but the last 3 seasons running.

Who said anything about xGF and xGA?? And who cares he's a 3rd line winger playing with a bust and a waiver wire throw away
