Let’s see if they shall actually win. Or if Gallant gets outcoached again.

Shanahan, Fedorov, Hull, Larionov, Chelios, Datsyuk, Hasek, Lidstrom, Robitaille, Yzerman. This might be the best team not to win a cup though.

Gallant gets outcoached 100%. Forgets time outs exist.

Then you're not getting Kane. It's that simple.

      carolina with meier:
      meier-aho-jarvis
      svech-kot-necas
      teravan-staal-fast
      martinook-stasny-stepan

      slavin-burns
      skjei-pesce
      de haan-chatfield

versus my lines it goes: 1st line Car, 2nd Line NYR, 3rd line NYR, 4th line NYR, 1st D NYR, 2nd D Car, 3rd D Car, Goalies NYR. In a best of 7 i would take NYR

      Devils with meier:
      SHarangovich-Hughes-Bratt
      Tatar-Hischier-Meier
      Palat-Haula-Zetterlund
      Wood-Mcleod-Boqvist

      SMith-Hamilton
      Graves-Marino
      Sieg-Severson

versus my lines it goes: 1st line NJD, 2nd Line NYR, 3rd line NYR, 4th line NJD, 1st D NYR, 2nd D NYR, 3rd D NJD, Goalies NYR. In a best of 7 i would take NYR

      This is just my observation

Only if Kane picks one team, but he still hasn't even decided if he is waiving yet. If he picks only 1 team, let's say the Rangers only do Krav, then simply put the Hawks would rather keep Kane for simply the revenue he brings to the team for the remainder of the season.

Also, it is widely speculated, Kane could go somewhere and sign with the Hawks again in the offseason if his family doesn't want to move and he is torn as he doesn't but doesn't want to go through a rebuild to end his career either. If his family is against it, Hawks land Bedard, you can bet there is a good chance he signs a contract with the Hawks.

if davidson decides to go against the wishes of the best player in franchise history, the level of bad look that is would be insane. denying your best player a chance at the cup would have the media and the rest of the nhl eating the blackhawks up as an organization. him returning in the offseason was never off the books. the first isnt happening though unless unforeseen circumstances occur

Kane hasn't decided he wants to waive for the playoffs. Not sure where you are assuming this is on Davidson. Just reported today, Kane is still undecided. I mean Kane has 3 rings and a display case full of hardware, you assume he's desperate for a ring which isn't the case.

Kane has also stated he will work to do what's best for the team. Meaning, if only 1 team and not a fair offer, he would likely understand.

Not sure how closely you've followed Kane and the Hawks, but the organization and Kane have a very tight relationship. Kane does a lot of work offseason with the team and scouts. He has said he wants to work for the Hawks post playing days. This isn't going to turn into a spectacle so no reason to assume it will.

i follow blackhawks closely as they are one of my favorite teams. Im a die hard rangers fan but ive been a fan of colorado and chicago since around 2008-9 due to family affairs in those areas. ive followed almost kanes entire career and know the blackhawks organization. if it comes to it, he will want a cup and want to be traded to a team

I take it back. I think you'll probably end up with a 1st for him given his recent play. Even if he chooses the Rangers. Probably just not a 2023 1st. I wouldn't hold your breath on Bedard. He's probably going to be a Canuck.

I don't have hopes for Bedard. Nobody is catching Anaheim at the bottom with the best lottery odds. I think the Hawks land #2 or #3 worst team. My hope is they land Fantilli who I think is NHL ready next season and would be the #1OA in most draft years.
