I don't think the Leafs need Bonino.

I like Jensen. Definitely an upgrade over Holl.
Teams probably want a 1st for him though.

Not even close for Jensen. Bunch of nothing. If Orlov got a 1st + 2nd I imagine Jensen gets a 1st

You might be right but I would expect slightly less. Orlov 50% retained + taking on Bruins contract was a 1st + 2nd. Wouldn't be surprised if Jensen with no retention only nets a 2nd

This is irrelevant to the OP.
As to the OP, in their current position the Capitals will not want Kerfoot (at all) or Hirvonen. If the Leafs don’t want to offer picks they won’t have anything enticing for the Capitals.

Oh I agree, I should've clarified in the original quote that I don't think this deal is nearly there. I was more saying that I think if Jensen were to be moved, I wouldn't be surprised if the return didn't include a first (That is if they even move him, I know they've been talking extension).
