As a player who's well-liked and respected in the locker room, the Sabres are not going to dump him just for draft picks - especially now. At some point next season, depending on whether or not Kulich's development has him lined up to be a younger and equally-good replacement for Olofsson's offense, they might consider it.

As much as I love Konecny as a player and think he'd be the perfect fit age-wise and style of play for what the Sabres need, that package is too heavily tilted in the Flyers' favor IMO; maybe your proposal is based on thinking that the Flyers don't want to deal Konecny (Tortorella obviously loves the guy) and therefore the Sabres would have to overpay, which is logical, but the Sabres would not likely deal 2 picks in the top 40 of a talent-rich draft as well as one of their top prospects.
