Kline berg is on of the worst defensemen in the league but can run a power play. Other make sense

I think he gets a good prospect + 2nd / 3rd. TBH capitals might just extend him. He’s a really really good player.

I used to watch Jensen in Detroit and never thought he'd amount to anything. But he's a great example of a player who worked his ass off and never gave up. He's had himself a nice career.

Yeah I agree. He wasn’t nearly this good his first year in DC but he has become a great leader / player. He would be an “older” guy I wouldn’t mind extending if we are planning a quick retool.

He was great in Detroit under a terrible system. Like I’ve said Washington got him because he was undervalued and they knew what his capabilities were played in the correct role. Washington wasn’t the only team in on Jensen at that time

What does all those players have that Jensen doesn’t. Term. Murphy, and Karlson have term and term care about term especially contenders since they want him for multiple runs. Karlson also is the front runner for the Norris so he’s worth every bit of that 11 million.

Klingberg is the only one you named that is actually valued higher than Jensen when he shouldn’t. GMs overpay for brand names. Case in point Ben Chiarot, David Savard, and more.

He turned into probably one of the best defensive dman in the league. That doesn’t happen overnight. It quite evident that Detroit front office didn’t know how to evaluate its players in 2019 and it’s showing in Edmonton right now.
