Chyrchrun deal just is not bad lmao. You can make an argument that it is not enough for DeBrincat but it seems like his market is pretty small since he has been underwhelming this season

Late 1st rounder, Cap dump Foegele + Sens retaining money. There is no chance Sens would do that. Sens traded their 7th overall pick to get Debrincat...

Dumping Foegele's contract itself would cost that 3rd round pick. Kulak and a late 1st = Debrincat (3,200,000) retained ?

The only reason ottawa trades cat is for a top pairing defensman which edmonton does not have

the trade for Chychrun isn’t enough but saying that Orlov got more than that is pretty dishonest. Washington got a 1st for Orlov, a 2nd for Hathaway, and a 3rd for taking on Craig Smith.

and also yeah the Ottawa trade isn’t remotely close
