Canucks probably wanna keep Beau, he's fit in SOOO well. And Canes probably would want Miller more than both of those two combined anyways.

And finally I think that's a bit of an over payment xD
The negative value from KK's contract is kind offset by the negative value of Boesers. Resulting in what is essentially Beau for 2~+ first rounders in value.

They said they weren’t going to trade Nikishin. They probably also don’t trade Kotkaniemi unless something substantial comes back.

You’re joking right? Cause there are several things wrong with what you have said.

First, the Canes won’t make a move for Miller unless Miller’s AAV on his extension is between 4-5mil. KK also doesn’t have negative value, and has been one of the best 2-way players in the league since the turn of the new year. That’s a massive overpayment for an off injured winger who hasn’t been great this year and another overpaid winger who would sit on the 4th line.

Boeser scores and has added playmaking this year and Beauvillier is playoff performer at 29 points in 49 games which is what the Canes need is scoring from gritty players like Beauvillier and playing against him for so many years they know what the player is and JK is negative value as he is locked in for 8 years and has not lived up to being a 2C with low scoring with the wingers he is playing with

4.8M for another 7 years for a forward that will never crack the .5 points per game barrier is the very definition of negative value.

You really didn't understand what I meant did you?

1. Canes would make a move for Miller, even at 8m. 10/10 times. They've already been linked to have inquired about his status with the Canucks THIS SEASON. KK has as close to zero value without going negative, but I argue he's a negative value player. His only good defensively BECAUSE he plays for the Canes.
2. I was referring to the Canes overpaying still, take out some pieces, this is closer to a Miller trade than Boeser and Beau.

How are you getting something substantial back for KK when his contract is honestly worse than Boesers. He's a at best 3rd liner right now, and projects to be there for life if the talent he's been shoved with hasn't improved his scoring. And for all his 2way game, that's not worth 4.8m for 7 years. Honestly are getting closer to paying to have to move KK than getting a great return for him.

Because he’s 22 and he’s been a good 2c since January defensively and offensively. He is progressing well and definitely looks like a 2c.

Carolina would call the hospital and schedule a mental evaluation for their old friend Jim Rutherford after he proposed that offer to them
