Description

The only real need we have on this team right now is a third-line RW; Barbashev fills that role nicely also, a 4th line of Fliggy-Freddy-Hathaway would be nasty in the playoffs.

I wouldn’t call it a need.

There is absolutely no chance that nosek is out of the lineup if healthy.

Don't get me wrong, I value Nosek as a player. However, I could see him slotting in and out of the lineup toward the end of the regular season and into the playoffs. In this scenario, the bruins have 5 proven 4th liners and Kopanen waiting in the wings. I could see a physical 4th line like the one shown above in a playoff series against a team susceptible to a heavy forecheck, and maybe a 4th line with Nosek against a team reliant on the PP.
