Yea, but don't they typically strike a deal pending physical? And if medical info given is different from what teams doctors find it nixes the deal

I heard Holtz was informed hes not a part of it. I forgot the guys name he was just on the radio at like 7, one of the bigger guys of the NHL insiders

Methinks the rumor (fact?) that Meier won't sign an extension this season has a lot to do with it. GMKA isn't going to Murray this thing on a rental, and I'm with him. Not saying he shouldn't do something significant as a reward for a Sabres team that's working some magic (four games above real .500 and in the top wild card spot via points percentage,) but any player coming in needs to have a cheap trade price or be in their wheelhouse for age and contract term.

yeah but it was also reported that Zetterlund wasn't a part of it and now it's reported that he is. No idea what's going on now.
