Just listening to 32 Thoughts, and they thought Buffalo could use some face-off help: would Sabres fans be interested in including Domi in a deal like this . . . his FO rate's been great this year.

Jake McCabe? Chicago's Jake McCabe? The guy who was middling and mediocre at best in Buffalo for years? The core of the most losing teams in Buffalo history? For a first? And a fourth? Really? I really hope we dont touch him with a 10 foot pole!

Probably not given he's a UFA in the offseason and would only take away from development time needed for their own younger core. McCabe on the other hand was fairly well liked in Buffalo and didn't remain because of the mess that was here at the time. He would slot back in nicely finishing out the top four D with Dahlin, Samm's and Powers. He also brings some serious net protection that is by far this teams biggest weakness.

That McCabe had very good defensive numbers on a team that was a disaster. One guy can't pull up a bad team and his D pairings were massively bad. Risto for example. His time on ice performance back then and still today are better then a lot and he comes at a good price to be a good backstop to someone like Powers.
