Applesauce isn't useful to Columbus, as a pricey bottom-6 winger with term; you'd have to pay them to take him off your hands. They're overstocked on the wings as it is. Swap him out for Heinola (as it seems he's fallen out of favor in Winnipeg), and Columbus jumps at the deal; swap him out for a 3rd or Zhilkin, and it probably still works. If Winnipeg wants Korpisalo or Nyquist included, that'd be fine as well.

I think Heinola would definitely be enticing. Maybe it would take a 2nd along with him, but that might be enough. If Winnipeg would consider moving Samberg, the pick would be lower.

I feel like Samberg is the next Dillon on the team big physical lhd for the 2nd or 3rd pair and because of that heinola most likely is 2nd pair or off the team and since Dillon has another year I can't see heinola in the ahl again so he's gonna move first
