Ya that’s how I normally would feel. However it’s not a usual scenario. Kane only wanted to come here and he has made over 100M in his career. For him to sign league min vs 4-6m for the next 1-3 seasons really isn’t life changing money. He might rather have a kick at 3 more rings and not care about money. If that’s the case, Senko might consider a similar thought. They aren’t a ‘Kadri’ looking for that big money deal anymore. It’s a long shot but I think there’s something to Kane taking a Giordano like deal to be “showtime on broadway” for the next couple seasons.
