Description
I don't believe this GM should be allowed to make another deal. He's incompetent. He didn't just slam the window shut, he burnt the entire house down. I think when looking at the roster, I'd run it like this for the rest of the year and see what you get out of the WB/S kids. It can't get much worse.

I don't believe this will be their lineup after friday. I think there will be a deal made to remove McGinn's salary out, Danton Heinen will be a casualty of having noone to play with and will be moved and, unfortunately, Marcus Pettersson will be on his way out. For some reason, this GM doesn't think he's worth the money. He tried trading him last summer and thankfully couldn't figure out how to turn his phone on, now that he's figure that out, it's just a matter of time. Brace yourself, Penguins fans. Your new third line will likely have Brock Boeser on it, and won't be much better than it was earlier this season (although, it'll cost alot more to suck)

I honestly don't get the moves. Moving Blueger for a pick made sense if you had another move lined up, but pivoting to Granlund was one of the biggest head-scratchers I've seen in years.

I don't even know what you do with this team. Carter's probably not waiving to go somewhere else, Dumoulin is the next best option to dump but he's got some control over where he goes, so can you even move him?

I just don't get the vibe here. The bottom 6 feels like you've paired offense-first centers with defensive forwards, the D-corps is iffy, and they've only been as good as they are through the combination of 87/71 and Jarry, it feels like.

Only meaningful option left is to fire Hextall.

He is one of the worst GM's . He has absolutely no plan. He has hired his friends and family to run the entire team. Our director of pro scouting has 1 year of scouting experience and a few years of being an AHL coach. He has turned this organization into a joke.

wonder if the sens are willing to take on DeSmith in exchange for Talbot since both teams are tinkering close to wildcard spot?

To make things even worse, Rutherford was the one who basically told the Pens to hire Hextall. He screwed us even after he quit.
