It's fun doing these, even if no one ever thinks the results are any good

Description
----It may not be viable to get any of the players I select, but that's why it's just for fun.

----I can't help but think moving out Gaudreau now while he may still be seen as having league value, before people come to realize his size hinders any real playoff appeal.

----Sentiment is the reason Gio gets moved to Toronto to finish his career in his hometown.

----Rumors suggest we will lose Ferland to Vegas, so getting a rugged winger back somewhere is a plus.

----All comments are welcome, just remember this is generally for FUN so there's no need to be overly critical

If Giordano wants to finish his career in hometown Toronto, it will playing ball hockey on his parents' driveway. No way is Leafs interested in a long term cap hit of 6.8m

You're right these are fun and it's rare anyone agrees with the trades. At the end of the day we just all want our teams to be better.Enjoy !

Okay but... How do you expect to land Beaulieu for free? He's a restricted free agent on the Habs, who are currently looking to trade him away. The contract is unrealistic for 6 years (but as you said, just for fun so nbd), but at least give us something back for a puck-moving blue-liner that you think is first-line worthy Sticking Out Tongue I'm curious to know what non-Habs fans think his worth is.

Gaudreau would generate a lot more trade value, Alzner's asking price is much higher

I like the Duchene trade and signing Alzner. I like the Idea, but you could get more for Gaudreau
