Perron is an offensive veteran who has won a cup before and has experience in the playoffs. Also Tolvanen has been good since being picked up, but it won’t hurt to lose him for perron and considering they still have young assets

Detroit gets a young player in Tolvanen who has found some luck recently and hopefully can breakout in detroit, replacing tyler bertuzzi on the 1st line. If not, they also get a decent 3rd pick in 2024 and this years 6th rounder

That veteran presence will come at a steeper cost in my opinion. I’m sure almost every team in a playoff position wants this player and if Det retains 50% then he will become the hottest commodity today and fetch a lot more

This is true. I’d say he’s staying a wing then. Players I think could be traded today are kubalik, zadina, and suter. But with them all being relatively young the return would have to be something Stevie can’t pass up
