Who says, we'll retain salary for the right price, we've been saying that all year.

I might argue it's an overpay - if I recall correctly from some Ducks-Avs banter a little while back, the general consensus from Ducks fans around here was something like a 1st and a 4th for Henrique fully retained; if you want Kulikov I feel like they'd take the 1st/2nd combo and not need Dufour/Salo.

I would accept that offer as the Anaheim GM, and I would retain 50% on Kulikov, too. We would still have a third retention slot open (for someone like Klingberg, who will need it in order to be traded at all).
