You're undervaluing Galchenyuk by a mile. Only way he is traded is if the return is a elite centermen

I don't think that trade gives MTL anything they'd be looking for. Perron and Gunnarsson don't hold much value, and neither play center. I think more realistic offers would be:

    Barbashev
    Edmundson
    27 OA

    Berglund
    Schmaltz/Dunn
    27 OA

You really expect an "elite" centerman? Galchenyuk was drafted 5 yrs ago and hasn't panned out as a center. He's a great scorer and he hasn't peaked, but maybe you and I use the word 'elite' differently. MTL can get a haul for Chucky, no doubt, but to expect an elite player at the toughest position, I doubt we'll see that.

Yeah, we could get Ilya's low-life cousin for way cheaper than $5M x 3 haha.

So this is what it feels like when someone offers you garbage for your player (Galchenyuk).

This kid has scored 30 goals last season, while playing an average pf 14-15 mintues a night. He is only 24 and has massive potential. Look at Granlund in Minny. tore up the league at age 25, before that fans were saying they should trade him, and one season he later he is producing at an elite level. Give Galchenyuk 1 summer under Jullien, and he will do wonders
