Drury isn't interested in 'Bortuzzo' I can promise you that.

The Rangers need defensive help and Bortuzzo is a defensively minded D-man and he’s cheap. Beyond that, Drury is a pretty terrible GM while Armstrong is pretty decent. Just consider the last 2 trades the Rangers and Blues have made; the Rangers got half a season of Tarasenko and Mikkola and a 4th (which they flipped for half a season of Andrew Copp) for a 1st Round Pick, Buchnevich, a prospect and a 4th round pick. Blais doesn’t even factor in because he was in both trades. Drury can easily be persuaded by anyone lol.

Rd man side, Fox, Trouba and Schneider. And no Schneider can't play Ld, neither can Fox or Trouba. So not sure what point you are trying to make?
possible might be a need for a bott 6 Ld man... possible...

I know, NYR gave away Buch for nothing. Be glad for that. Happy fan grin

That’s a fair take, but the stats show Keller is a much more rounded player than Kyrou. They have very similar offensive stats, but Keller is far superior defensively. Keller throws the body, blocks more shots, and has better giveaway/takeaway numbers than Kyrou. He’s also managed to be a really decent player on a consistently bad Coyotes team. On top of that, he’s cheaper and they’re the same age. I added that trade at the end, but you could change out Keller for Kyrou and I’d be happy with the other moves.

Bortuzzo can play LD if you need, Blues even put him on the 4th line a couple years ago when we had lots of injuries. He’s not married to one side or the other, and he’s a depth player. The Rangers would die for some cheap depth right now.

Drury made a ****ty trade at the start of his career but he's been amazing since then. He got Tarasenko from yall for less than Tanner Jeanott costed. And he got Kane for a 2nd 3rd and 4th. The Blackhawks weren't willing to move Kane unless it was for multiple firsts at first, but he didn't budge and forced Chicago to do so. If you takeaway the Buchnevich trade and look at Drury's career as a whole, you can't say he's one of the worst in the league lmao

Hawks might be willing to take Scandella, but strictly as a cap dump, not in a hockey trade. Blues will add a 2nd or 3rd round pick and aren't getting anything back.

Lol……your entire core was gifted. Guys like Laf and Kakko were lottery picks that the Rangers did not deserve and Fox forced himself onto the Rangers by refusing to play for any other team. Panarin was a FA signing…..Zeb is carried by Panarin……the contract to Kreider is iffy at best. The Buchnevich trade is horrid, and both Tarasenko and Kane forced thir teams to trade them to NYR using their trade clauses. And both are effectively top 6 players, nowhere near where they were in the past. If anything, the return for Tarasenko was too much, especially considering you took Mikkola too. Oh and Barclay Goodrow? He’s built a team that relies on Sheshty being a brick wall, R1 exit, at most R2. Not a contender tho.

The Hawks are in the middle of a deep rebuild and aren’t even finished selling off all their old players. They would gladly take Scandella to flip at the deadline, if they don’t, they’re stupid. Then again they did sign Jones to THAT contract.

Didn't say they wouldn't take him. Simply said they aren't paying any asset's to acquire him.
