-Just bury Johnston in the AHL. I would be shocked to see someone give up a pick for him.

-The Blues just got Vrana, with full retention, for practically nothing. Why are you offering them one of the teams' better offensive prospects and a 2nd rounder for a guy that literally has done nothing to redeem his value yet?

Welcome to CapFriendly. Sometimes, it's not too friendly.

First Josh Anderson, now Jakob Vrana . . . what do you have against Billy Dufour?

Unlikely that the Blues would trade Vrana before the TDL of next season. They are going to look to contend for a playoff spot next year, and Vrana has potential to score 20 to 30 goals. If he does well, they’ll be asking to a high B low A prospect or a 1st Round pick. They would definitely not package two 4th rounders with him and they are not gunna pick up a bad contract either. A more realistic trade for the offseason would be something like Aho and a 2nd or a 1st and a 3rd or something like that, at the TDL they’d prolly take just Aho or just a 1st.

Was there a change in that trade? Because Bailey is certainly not a prospect.

Would be shocked to see Barbashev sign at that lwo of an AAV.

Also, lets see what Vrana can do before taking back a worse player for a pick.
