Quoting: Boos
And, conversely, fans overvaluing their players is something that happens way too often. Tage always had a remarkable shot, size reach and puck control. His problem was finding open ice to unleash that shot. He figured it out, with the help of high-quality linemates with the chemistry amongst the trio creating open ice.
Please define Peyton Krebs' qualities that would constitute a Tage-like emergence. Can't use passing right now because it's been atrocious dating back to his time with Rochester in the playoffs.
SCOUTING REPORT
Has the speed and skill to be a top-six forward at the NHL level. Is an excellent skater with good burst. Is also a fine playmaker. Is still learning the 200-foot game but is not a defensive liability by any means. Probably needs to shoot more; sometimes he ends up passing up big scoring chances, literally. Has to get stronger to deal with the pounding he will take at the NHL level.
Long Range Potential: Slick playmaking forward with upside.

He was picked in the 1st round for a reason
His passing can improve btw
Sabres are still shuffling around the bottom6 to see what works
Heck, we haven’t even figured out Line2 yet, not really
Even more importantly than getting you to see the light,
is how the Sabres see it
He was a “must have” piece in the Eichel trade
And thinking they’d just dump a talented 22 year old like that is just plain absurd
U really think the Sabres would keep Jost & dump Krebs???
Come on now….
