Merkulov has 42 points in 51 games in the AHL after leading ohio state in goals, looks pretty promising

Lysell was a point per game in the AHL at 19 before he went to world junoirs and has slowed down still our best prospect.

Beecher projects as a career bottom 6 center but replaces nosek for half his cost.

This team is still better than the Sabres by a lot.

I don't think the Sabres would be looking at grzelcyk. We already have dahlin, Samuelsson, and power as left shot d, and trading an early second for one year of grzelcyk to likely play on the third pair doesn't seem like a fit for either the Sabres or grzelcyk.

Doesn't have to be Buffalo but figuring they have so many promising young prospects they would seem to be a team willing to start trading picks next year especially since they have 2 second rounders.

Yeah they are better than the sabres... never argued they werent lol, just saying these top prospects would arguably not crack the top 100 prospects list outside of the nhl. But again that is ok because of the success the bruins have had. you are looking a little insecure by targeting the sabres for being bad when that was never the argument in the first place.

Don't say something negative and then call someone insecure for saying something negative back. Sabres are the future, best prospect pool in the nhl imo while they are already competing for a wildcard spot. Bright future on the horizon, no hate over herecheers

Sorry man I wasnt trying to be negative, heck 5 years ago the sabres were brutal and they still drafted horribly... Bruins for the cup!
