Hawks probably consider this. Might ask for a younger F prospect in place of Madden. He and ****emo are basically the same age.

On paper, it should cost more for LAK to unload two more years of Peterson's awful deal. But, LAK could always buy him out or bury him as an alternative, so that takes away some leverage.

A 2nd and 3rd and some half-decent prospects seems reasonable.

As an aside, the cap hit on Gav seems unrealistically low for the deal he's about to get in free agency.
