Right, but at this time the Jets have no reason to move Connor, so it would take an overpay to interest Winnipeg.

same thing for Cozens it would take a lot to get him from BUF. Moving Connor wouldnt be good but if they want to go in a rebuild/retool direction getting Rosen Krebs and a top 20 pick this year is decent. Something like Savoie, Rosen, 2023 first is better in a Connor deal and if they were rebuilding I would take that instantly.

First of all, because the two first round picks Tampa gave up for Hagel are late around 25th OA just a little better than Buffalo's 2023 frist round pick about 14th OA.
Second, you are 100% correct Conner is a top winger.
Third, this is a good offer.
A top 15 pick in a solid draft, 14th OA from the 2021 draft, 17th OA from the 2019 draft and a second.
Three really good pieces and a sweetener.
Fourth, Buffalo is not trading Cozens, he has a very high ceiling, 30+ goals and pt/gm are all possible with better linemates. He has been playing with two 21 yo most of the year.
Finally, the Canucks may decide to reject this.
