what a shame that you din't trade Malkin or Tanger. Biggest pens fan out there, but they need to go. We've screwed ourselves.

Not a fan of these signings tbh, but I think you did a great job with the trades and I love the creativity there. (even though I'd prefer to keep Peterson). If we get Dubas, for example, which I think we should if given the chance, I could see him making some drastic moves like this.

What's your outlook on the team going forward? What do you think we should do? Not judging at all, just interested in hearing your opinion because I think it's rebuild time sooner than people think. Maybe not this summer, but next summer I believe it will be time.

2016 Ken Holland says ok. 2023 Steve Yzerman laughs, until the Pens hang up, and the Steve calls from another line to laugh some more.

Rust is not getting a 1st.

How many times must we see Marcus Petterson traded? He is worth a 3rd at best. Nobody is dishing out 4 million for 2 more seasons to score 2 goals per season.

Two guys actually having good seasons and well worth their contract? Yah trade them... People are so damn stupid on this board.

This is just not true lol, Petry has been really good this year. I personally think he has been better than Letang, we just can't move on from Letang. I'm not saying the return will be great, but to think he has no value is wold

Too much and he's too old for wings, wings gonna pass at this price. It will be something like vrana or a really small return

Not sure you understand how bad of an idea it was to re-sign these guys. They may be adequate thus far in the season but they're aging, and it makes sense to trade them while they're still worth something.

Evgeni Malkin is 21st among forwards in scoring. That's not adequate, that's elite. Letang suffered a stroke and missed time due to his father's death and is still 31st among D in scoring and 16th in goals. They are having great seasons and are part of just a small number of players dragging all of Hextall's mistakes into the playoffs. Signing them for below market value was one of the few good things Hextall has done.

TBH idk. I'm fed up which is why some of these moves are questionable at best. I think we need good depth in our bottom six, as right now we have nothing. If we were to rebuild it would be drastic because we have no 'just solid' players that could get prospects or draft picks, especially with how rust has been performing this season. Granlund out, Dumo out and grab two top 4 or even top 6 D under 30, preferably 22-28, and grab a backup tendy like Adin Hill maybe.
