I just figured they could be a good fit for him. Also don't think they can resign Colton, not sure though.

Pretty sure I saw a report that Atkinson may never play again. Would be very sad if thats how the atkinson-voracek swap works out in the end

if thats the case, isles do it and stash on LTIR

He's too expensive even with retention and Im not very high on his game. I haven't seen him play a ton, but I know he's a good OFD. Not in tune with his overall game. Our right side is already set for next season. Colton will be interesting. Signing him to his big deal, and bringing in Jeannot who also needs a deal, leaves not much room to round out the bottom 6 and 3LD. Tricky situation

I say pass on Hayes, he's just not it for a 2C for us given his age and contract and style of play

Oh that would not be good. I didn't see anything if the sort and don't know anything of his injury. I honestly just thought he would be a nice upgrade on Bailey and seems like a move Lou would make. Either way I think the isles could do it.

3 years after this season left. I see him filling 2C this season and kind of splitting between 2/3C with Kasper season after and probably 3C roll if not traded in final year.

Yeah I feel that, could Fleury not hold down 3LD?

I know he's not ideal but id do that Hayes deal for sure. Larkin Hayes Copp isn't terrible down the middle and you can always move Copp to wing anytime you want to.

I hope he does, he has looked really good this season IMO, even with being #7 and scratched most the season. I hope we can resign Cole cause he's an obvious upgrade over Fluery. Seeler is just a name that has been mentioned by TB ACGM's, but I would rather have Fluery develop and become a regular, or find an upgrade. I don't really see Seeler as that much of an upgrade over Fluery

Kind of my thoughts too. I wouldn't take him at full cap hit though. That way he could be easily moved again maybe with more retention.

Cole would be good to resign and shouldn't cost as much this season. I wouldn't offer him more than 1.5M if I was Tampa though. The tax situation and strength of the team should help encourage him to hopefully take a lesser cap hit than maybe he gets on the open market. I could see a team offering him close to what he makes now or slightly less. If he wants more I think they just run with Fleury and maybe find a cheap depth option in free agency.

Yeah. We have Raddysh too who has played well in his small sample size. I hope thats the case with Cole. Although if I was another team, I would be fine with paying him more than 3 mil. He's still a very solid top 4 guy so I could see someone possibly bidding him up, although I'd want to stay in Florida if I was Cole

Exactly, Tampa has the luxury of tax benefits, weather, competitive team and less media attention.
