Canucks decline. They are not currently over the cap. Anyways moving Pearson wouldn’t create more cap space since he’s currently LTIR and looks to be for the foreseeable future, possibly may become LTIRetired.

He's also a super easy/cheap buyout. You could maybe get a late pick for taking ltir/risk that he comes back, but that would be more than current market value of him at full frate.

Missed that he was on LTIR.... if that is the case he is not getting traded, but i can't see Myers accepting a trade to Chicago. He was the original cap dump, I thought about.

Pearson is gonna be on LTIR for the rest of his career and if he comes back, he will be easy to flip to a team like ARZ that has to reach the cap floor for a 5th
