What’s your point? A gaa that’s starts with a 4 is unacceptable in the nhl and certainly not worth 5.4 mil a year for 4 more years. Makiniemi is likely the sharks backup next year, don’t really see him going anywhere. I mean I’m sure if there were multiple other high end pieces added to the deal from Columbus then San Jose would do it

My point would be, on a better coached team he's not this bad. Look at what he did when torts' system was Infront of him.
He's having an off year, the team is atrocious Infront of him, along with a terrible coaching system guiding it.

doesn’t matter a goalie shoukd never sport a 4.00+ GGA he has negative value right now. you’d be lucky to move him and it only cost you a late 1st

Fine, we would just keep him. I like Elvis, he's a solid NHL goalie. The only reason I was looking at moving him was to free up games for tarasov to play. Tarasov is our goalie of the future and he needs to experience the full starter role asap.
So delete that trade, and the Brossoit signing.

There are enough depth options on the FA market in Barbashev as you signed along with Kerfoot, Kampf, Haula, Sundqvist, etc that I doubt the Canucks would give up draft capital to get Roslovic. It's not a terrible offer I just think they would explore free agents first.

Korpi didn't struggle behind the same atrocious defense and terrible coaching. I don't think Elvis is as bad as this season has shown but until he gets his head straight and shows he's at least a league average goalie I don't see any team in the league giving up assets to acquire him.

OK Kahkonen has 1 yrs left at 2.5M 26 yrs old not 4 yrs at 5.4M on a guy who is already 28. Elvis is a cap dump in the Peterson, Campbell class
