Didn’t Gavrikov say he was going to test the market?

I think it's unlikely Hart will be moved this off season before Ersson has proved himself to be a true no 1. So far Ersson has looked amazing when given the chance. But is it just form, or is what he has shown his true level? If it's the latter, only then the Flyers would entertain the idea of trading Hart. But I'm usually wrong so who knows what'll happen.

Kings go nowhere near that Vilardi for Girard swap, for sure.

And Carter Hart is hard to value. I don't personally like that trade either. I'd rather just re-sign Korpisalo if that's the cost.

No chance that we trade Vilardi, or that we trade Fa-gem-o for a draft pick.

Ofc, but that doesn't mean theres no possibility of him staying in LA. If the kings win a round and offer him a good deal I don't see why he doesn't just stay there. I mean L.A has gotta be a top 3 market in the league rn

Yeah, I mean I was just hopping on the trend of Hart trades and I thought L.A would be a nice spot for him

I'm a bit conflicted on what Vilardi's value is. When I did my research I saw most ACGM's resigning him for 2-3 mil short term so if thats his value then I don't see why not trade him for a proven top 4 d-man

What's your solution to the kings abundance in forward prospects then? It seems that at least 3-4 of the guys won't ever seen even middle 6 ice time in L.A before the age of 25-26 and by then development will be limited. Theres no point in hanging onto a bunch of prospects just to see them die out and become disappointments

It's just as much the fact that Girard doesn't fit the mold of defenseman that the Kings need, outside of being lefthanded, as it is Vilardi's value.
