Flyers get a decent first round pick and one of the worst contracts in the NHL for a top-four defenseman and their franchise goalie?

Panthers are red-hot right now too...that pick gets worse and worse every day. If I'm picking 2 of NYI/PIT/FLA for those two wildcards, I'm taking Florida with one of those picks.

Tbf, Anderson probably has irl value around the league due to muh grit and scoring a decent bit.

Not sure if you remember - but Josh Anderson had a career year under Totrz in Columbus when they had the magical run. You don't think he'd take him on his team??

It's less about Tortz wanting Anderson and more about the value coming back for Hart and Provy. A starting goalie and a 2nd pair Dman for a mid first rounder and a middle six winger on a bad contract. And it looks like Philly is adjusting to a rebuild than their stupid retool idea. So players like Anderson aren't really a match right now.

Even at Anderson's best he's still barely worth his contract and there has been no indication that he'll ever score 27 goals again.
