Honestly a bad trade for the Sharks.

Essentially a fair deal for EK, until you factor in 2 bad contracts... Then also retained.

This is a few pieces from being fair. Big pieces. I'm talking Bouchard pieces.

From SJ's perspective, they can flip Ceci who's proven to be a decent 2nd pair RHD . That gets 3.5 mil off the books, on Campbell - the buyout is way more attractive/feasible for SJ or he becomes a reclamation project. Agree that the asking price from SJ might be higher but the interesting thing is both Campbell and EK contracts expire in the same year. If SJ want to deal EK they have to have a contract coming back, in this case it's Campbells.

nobody is taking jack,oil isnt moving ceci,and its too much retention on ek.
