Try to come up with something original that hasn't been turned down by neutral fans and Jet fans hundreds of times already on the PLD trade.

2 pieces being worthless to Winnipeg simply won't cut it.

When are Habs fans going to stop with this ridiculous Dubois trade?

Harris does nothing for the jets and would have no spot. Difference is he has value but we already have our lefties set and already have one on the right side. Exchange him with some other asset.

Not to mention Dvorak is injured and won't be back before the season starts. Therefore he has no trade value.

Difference is Dvorak is injured but would still make the top 12. Harris is behind 5 dmen and would force a bad trade of schmidt or pionk and then why do that to begin with. Dvorak is definitely not the guy I would want back but if cap needs to come back in some form I'd prefer a c which Dvorak is

Until he comes back and proves he can play though, he's not worth taking a chance on. 4th liners are fairly easy to find as UFA's are cheaper and won't have trade protection kicking in next year. I can't see the Jets even considering him.

Who said he's staying? We're talking about the worthless pieces you are offering.

I'd personally play him second line and hope he does well. If we do go into a retool/rebuild we still need players to play and Dvorak as a stop gap if both Dubois and scheifele are gone is better than not having Dvorak to begin with. He's also not old either at 27 years old and could be flipped in the final year to emerge from the retool. Just makes sense if that's the direction the team is going. Really don't want to see Lowry 1c in 2 years yk

Well, I see what you're saying, but Dvorak playing more more minutes higher in Montreal's lineup, scorers about the same as Lowry, but is far, far worse defensively. If you hate Lowry, you're really going to hate Dvorak. He's a more expensive, worse version of Lowry. I also trust the Jets wouldn't trade a major trade chip and accept an injured low end bottom sixer as a major part of the return. He's just not worth the gamble of hoping he returns to health.

I'd much rather target young guys with potential than expensive plugs like Dvorak.

With any luck, PLD is moved elsewhere and the Jets won't have to worry about it.
