Don't worry boys, this was more of an exercise in seeing what the Canucks can look like with a couple trades. Replace the Sens with whoever, replace the draft pick with a bag of pucks. Replace St. Louis with whoever. etc.
Canucks are a couple years away from sorting out the cap issues. My belief is that management keeps adding to their needs. Garland can more-or-less be replaced by Hoglander (save his cap space for that top 4D / 3C the Canucks need). I'm hoping they DON'T go out and sign a 3C this summer unless they're certain in his abilities. Patience it key and this management team has shown that they can be patient (unlike Benning).
