I think Colorado is more than at the point where picks mean less to them and they’d rather have proven players. Colorado has a lot of UFAs and a lot of older guys in the bottom 6. I think Yegor would be a good fit for their 3rd line and could really work in their system, giving them solid depth. Late 1st for a proven 20 goal scorer and a decent defensive prospect seems more than fair imo.

I'm a little bit intrigued as an Avs fan but think the asking price is too high. And Edwards doesn't really move the needle.

How about Yegor and Casey? Maybe Colorado adds something since Casey looks pretty good. Idk, just spitballing and might be asking too much, but figured I'd throw it out there.

I think the biggest issue stopping a trade here would be how much money he will be asking for to be resigned. Colorado is going to be in a cap crunch next year as it is without bringing anyone in

He's got a $2 million QO, cant imagine he'd get anything more than that

Understandable. Not sure how this works then, as Colorado won't trade a first and doesn't have and seconds. So unless NJ would take Olausson as the main piece, then it's probably not a fit.

I don’t like him as a 4th liner tbf. He’s good enough to be in a top 9 somewhere

1 year removed from a 24 goal, 46 point season. I’d say a late 1st is pretty fair value. His QO is only 2mil, given his season this year he won’t make much more than that. He can be cost controlled asset for a contending Avs team that could use some solidity on their 3rd line. At least that’s my thinking.
