I'd do the CLB Trade, but I think I'd prefer Kylington be the one go the other way over Zadorov; we need his Size, Physicality and PK Ability

I say we wait & see if we can get more for Kylington before unloading him for that low of a return

Killington would be the 5th or 6th best LHD the Red Wings have.
Pass.

Don't be silly. Who would be better than Kylington if he returned and played like he did last season!?

You have some good Prospects that may be better than Kylington some day, but that'll take a couple years yet

Walman is currently our first LHD, Edvinsson is looking primed to come up next year, Wallinder may spend a year in the AHL, but in the mean time we'd have Olli Määta, Chairot, maybe even Al. Johannson fighting for that 3rd LHD spot.
So "a couple of years" is basically next year he'll be fighting for the 3rd LHD spot with 3 other LHD that are already in our system and wouldn't cost a 3rd + 4th to bring in.

And yes I'd take Walman and Edvinsson over Kylington, even ignoring Edvinsson's projection and assuming he's plateaued at the level he's at.

Walman is Better Defensively and on the PK, but Kylington is Better Offensively, on the PP and Overall

Chiarot & Maata are no better than Kylington at all. Maata would be a 3LD on most Teams and Chiarot isn't the Player he used to be. Chiarot would be better used at 2RD in DET, since you're pretty much stuck with him now

Everyone else needs another 1-3 Years to develop before they'll be able to compete with Kylington, so acquiring Kylington, building back his Value and then moving or re-signing him next season out would be a good move on DET's part imo; especially if those other Prospects have set backs and don't become any better and can't push Kylington out

Once again LD is our organizational strength, So we don't need Kylington we need a 2nd pairing RD to replace Filip Hronek.

Alright man ignoring the fact that you think Kylington>Walman,
Edvinsson is already playing in the NHL right now. He's just being scratched so a year of his ELC isn't burned.
So with Walman and Edvinsson being basically locks, he's fighting with Maatta for that 3rd LD spot, and seeing as we recently extended Maatta....
Anyways, The Red Wings are not going to be competitive next year and such the 3rd LD spot doesn't matter, and after next year Wallinder or Al. Johannson will be coming up and replacing the odd man out, whether it be Maatta or Kylington.

That's fine, but 3 Games is getting a "Taste" of the NHL, not "Playing" in the NHL. You'll be rushing Edvinsson, who literally just turned 20 last month and who should play another entire year in the AHL to continue Growing & Filling out, Working on both his Offensive & Defensive Games and Dominating to Build up his Confidence & Maturity even more to be NHL ready, but that's just my opinion

What DET does is not of much interest to me and they wouldn't be getting Kylington for that low of a price anyways

I mean it's one thing if he's looked passable in his time, but he's been one of the better players (granted on a cruddy team). "Rushing him" would've been playing him at the start of this year.

And that's fine, rather use that 3rd on Willander.

-2 in and 1.3GF/60 vs 4.0GA/60 in 3GP, is not Good or NHL Ready imo, but it's a very small sample size and yay, he Scored on 1/4 Shots, Averaged 1 Hit Per Game and had 2 Takeaways vs. 1 Giveaway

Hope he turns out well for you guys, but it does generally take Defensemen longer = more time to Develop than Forwards, even if they were Drafted in the Top-10

I didn't think Jake Sanderson could do it either and he 's doing pretty good, although he is 6 months older and has NCAA experience, so has more experience playing against Full Grown Adults and not to mention, has significantly more experience playing the North American game. He's also from Calgary, Alberta, Canada, which tends to produce Absolute Studs and Amazing Hockey Players ; ).

I'm sure if you A) watched the actual games
and B) saw his linemates, you'd understand the stats better, but alas it seems you have not.

What would be the ask for Lindholm from STL?

Elias Lindholm isn't available, but STL could dangle either (STL's 2023 1st, Zachary Bolduc or Jimmy Snuggerud) + Jake Neighbours + Colton Parayko + Calle Rosen

We'd also be interested in poaching Tyson Galloway and Noah Beck from your Reserves in exchange for Mid-to-Late Round Draft Picks

Three other Flames Players STL might be interested in acquiring are Kylington, Vladar and possibly Hanifin
