The Kings aren't going to give away assets and take back a bad contract.

Cal Petersen is only $3.875M buried, So why are the Kings paying a 2nd for basically $500K in savings? Kings forward group is stacked and they are focused on reupping Korpi, no logic here.

Tbf Carter might retire anyways. Does that have a recapture fee for you if he does?

Canucks decline. Kravtsov was just acquired at the deadline and won't be moved, and Rathbone won't be moved unless a young RHD of similar skill in a similar situation is coming back. Canucks are looking for players 26 and under so no real interest in Brown, and Kelemen holds little to no value as an undrafted player in the AHL.

It’s doable if Carts retired, but unlikely on a Kings squad who could go into the playoffs. Especially considering his history with the team.

Well the pens gave Carter his current contract so if there was a recapture fee then they’d be the ones hit for it, not the kings.

we could retain half but if LA won't use Carter really no point in the deal for them anyways
